Technical Assistant, Limassol – TA/05/23

On behalf of a client, a leading insurance company, we are looking for a Technical Assistant to join their team. a Technical Assistant’s main responsibilities consist of reviewing and analyzing claims, performing internal assessments for property and motor claims, and/or assigning assessments to external assessors. The professional will have to combine emotional intelligence and technical skills with strong knowledge regarding the assessment of a claim’s value. The Company’s aim is to manage and settle any claim within 24hrs.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing detailed assessments for damaged property / vehicles
  • Guiding customers through the technical part of their claim
  • Preparing claim folders
  • Inputting data into claims systems and ensuring that all necessary documentation is included in the claim folder
  • Liaising with service providers, monitoring and evaluating service levels
  • Liaising with clients and their representatives and third parties
  • Participating in training and coaching sessions for Continuous Learning and Development

Position’s Requirements

  • University degree in Automotive Engineering or studies in a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
  • Computer literacy (MS Office:  Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively, efficiently and to embrace changes involving technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Active listening and critical thinking
  • Sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Self-discipline and able to meet deadlines
  • Patience and ability to deal with difficult customers and respond to technical questions
  • Good judgment showing logical decision making, and a “hands on” approach
