Our client, a well-established distribution company in the FMCG sector, is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Brewer with a passion for the industry, a rigorous approach to quality standards and a strong dedication with assisting in the creation of a remarkable product. The key focus of the role will be to facilitate daily production requirements at the Brewery, as well as provide operational support to the Brewmaster.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support to the Brewmaster
• Work closely with the brewing team to achieve desired quality assurance and production targets
• Run frequent quality tests on products in progress
• Participate in beer tasting panels
• Operate brewing and production systems
• Keep accurate daily production records
• Assist with inventory counts as needed
• Assist Technicians with equipment maintenance and repairs
• Follow cleaning schedules of the facility
• Comply with will all Health & Safety as well as Food Safety procedures
• Contribute innovative ideas and effective approaches

Position’s Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language, both oral and written
• Excellent knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and adjust within a fast paced and evolving work environment
• Ability to work efficiently and methodically
• Analytical and able to provide innovative solutions and approaches
• Ability to work on own initiative
• High mental and visual attention
• Occasional overseas travel
• Flexibility to work in shifts patterns
