On behalf of a client, a boutique advisory firm specializing in Data Management and Data Engineering projects in the Financial Industries Sector, we are looking to recruit a Data Engineer to join their team in Nicosia.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

You will be providing hands-on consulting services to our various clients in the financial industry sector focusing on Data Engineering, Data Warehouse and BI projects, primarily utilizing your SQL, ETL, BI skillset.

Position’s Requirements

You will need to have working experience in:

• SQL
• Databases/DataWarehouses/DataMarts

An advantage would be to have (working or academic) experience in:

• BI Tools
• ETL Tools
• R/Python
• Cloud (Databricks/Snowflake/Synapse)
• Dev-Ops (CI/CD)

As well as:

• Financial Services (Banking / Insurance)
• Regulatory Reporting
• Data Governance
• Data Modelling
