Head of Nurses, Nicosia – HN/10/23

Our client, a group operating in the health industry, is looking to recruit a Head of Nurses to manage a team of nurses.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of nurses, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices in home healthcare.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and standards to ensure the provision of safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
  • Monitor the delivery of nursing services to clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Continuously assess the quality of care provided by nursing staff and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the client services team to assess client needs and develop customized care plans.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries, ensuring their satisfaction with our nursing services.
  • Participate in client assessments and reassessments as required.
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, ensuring the company’s compliance.
  • Promote a culture of ethical and legal nursing practice among the team.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the nursing department’s budget effectively.
  • Monitor expenses, control costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Stay updated on the latest nursing techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Position’s Requirements

  • Nursing Degree
  • Valid nursing license in Cyprus
  • Proven experience in nursing leadership or management
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of nursing professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
