On behalf of a client we are currently looking to recruit high caliber Seniors to join the Assurance Service Line of business in Nicosia.

Position’s duties and responsibilities

• Leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits of financial statements.
• Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase technical and business skills in areas including revenue, financial instruments and income taxes.
• Constantly developing the understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
• Interact with management to gather necessary information.
• Review and resolve problems faced by staff auditors and make recommendations.
• Perform various risk and control assessments.
• Lead, develop and managed the team of junior auditors
• Perform and lead periodic assessment and testing of controls.

Position’s Requirements

• Acquiring a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or in other related field
• At least 3 years of professional external audit experience
• ACA / ACCA Professional Qualification (or working towards the qualification)
• A high standard of spoken and written Greek and English language
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong team working skills
• Strong analytical skills, including how to verify, challenge and interpret information used to create financial statements or other business data.
