On behalf of our client, a digital product group that accelerates digital transformation, we are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to enrich their team.
Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and compilation of the financial statements and internal operational reporting for monthly and/or quarterly business reviews with the executive team and shareholders.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, long term business plan and financial reporting to forecast and track the performance of the company’s departments and practices.
- Prepare monthly supports, analysis and commentaries to (i) present financial and/or operational results to the leadership team using executive-level framing to shape key messages, and (ii) explain variances between actual and budgeted financial performance.
- Challenge financial statements to identify potential risks/opportunities and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure department leaders are executing their budgeted plan, including tracking actuals, managing expenses and providing relevant directions to their team members
- Collaborate with representatives from all departments to develop accurate financial and operational reporting, analysis, forecasts and scenarios.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage key finance workstreams in connection with the continuous integration efforts of the new ERP suite.
- Perform operational controlling activities on the group financial accounts, revenue and operating expenses.
- Support in standardizing, simplifying, and automating the reporting and forecasting processes.
- Continuously challenge legacy ways of working, status quo; identify gaps, and recommend new ways of working.
- Support all other key finance initiatives and the preparation of ad hoc FP&A requests and analysis, as required.
Position’s Requirements
- 3 to 5 years progressive work experience in Financial Analysis or any other similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other relevant field.
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and profitability drivers.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail combined with an ability to step back and understand the big picture.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to drive processes and multi-task to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable navigating through grey areas without clear solutions.
- Fluent in English and Greek
- Experience with ERP tools (e.g. Netsuite, OpenAir) or knowledge and understanding of the software development industry, will be considered as advantages.

Salary range
€30-35k gross
