Outsystems Developer, Nicosia – OUD/03/24
On behalf of our client, a Financial Services and Advisory Firm, we are currently looking to recruit an Outsystems Developer to join their team in Nicosia.
Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance OutSystems applications using agile development methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers on the team.
- Conduct application requirements gathering and design review sessions with relevant stakeholders.
- Fix critical issues and maintain applications.
- Responsible for end-to-end development of the application and its enhancements.
- Leverage industry and technical background to create high-level solutions with long-term value.
Position’s Requirements
- Working experience with OutSystems platform (or relevant Mendix, Appian etc).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem solver in a collaborative way.
- Flexibility in adapting your approach to meet the needs of the client and/or your team(s).
- Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments.
- Knowledge and experience in support tools for agile methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Appetite to take ownership of several complex initiatives.
- Good appreciation of current market trends (Cloud, Data Analytics, Emerging Technologies etc.) and how these are likely to impact key industry players.
- Dedication to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team.
- Natural curiosity and the confidence to provide alternative options or suggestions when you see something that could be improved.
