On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join theirteam as the Head of Finance for their group of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities (internal reporting and fulfilment of statutory requirements) across a diverse portfolio of businesses, ensuring accuracy, efficiency.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, external auditors, and financial regulations.
• Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.

Position’s Requirements

• Member of ICAEW.
• Post qualification experience of 7 years in a senior finance role
• Experience within the hospitality, forex, or fintech industries will be considered as advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals.
