Finance Manager, Nicosia – FM/04/24

Our client, a well-established company operating in the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries is looking to employ Finance Manager for their team in Nicosia.

We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in retail and FMCG industries with strong business acumem. Specialised in strategic analysis, business modelling and financial planning. A candidate that works in cross functional teams, alongside various business areas, and partnering with senior leaders. Constantly seeking new challenges, new knowledge and growth through project involvement. A fast learner, driven to action, adaptive to ever-changing situations whilst building long-lasting relationships. The candidate will be a key business partner to the commercial teams, in particular sales and marketing, advising and controlling their operations whilst working closely with General Management.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial reporting on profitability and business performance
  • Business partnering with the commercial teams, providing key support on reviewing, drafting and approving contracts.
  • Review and approval of pricing for deals and promotions
  • Financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Production of accurate monthly management accounts
  • Provision of financial reporting to senior leadership
  • Overall management responsibility for the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger teams
  • Support M&A activity and NBD opportunities
  • Ad hoc project work
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts
  • Preparation of KPI reports for the business
  • Improving processes and reporting wherever possible
  • Recording and reporting key information to aid business decision making
  • Assisting in Cash-flow forecasting and monitoring
  • Preparation of the annual budget
  • Management of the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions

Position’s Requirements

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifications
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English langages
  • Excellent use of MS Office and BI
  • Proven commercial finance experience in the FMCG or retail industries will be considered as an additional advantage.
  • Be commercially aware and technically excellent accountant with strong attention to detail
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organised and diligent
  • Happy to work on site
