IT Specialist, Nicosia – ITS/04/24

Our client is a CySEC regulated investment services firm and family investment office. We are currently looking to recruit for an IT Service Support for their offices in Nicosia.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

Performing IT support to day to day business / users including:

  • Selected VIP support (with high priority and caliber)
  • Off-premise IT Support for events and users, at venues

Performing 1st level support, maintenance & managing duties to IT systems / processes which involve:

  • Network incidents, changes and implementations
  • Hardware & Software incidents, changes and implementations
  • Collaboration solutions and systems, incidents , changes and implementations
  • IT assets inventory, lifecycle, including any leased or own ICT equipment
  • Proposing , ordering IT related devices, peripherals, services
  • Printing Landscape
  • Local Servers (if any) and apps
  • Reporting, surveying and tracking costs of IT services / resources, TCOs

Performing IT Service requests management including:

  • Troubleshooting, resolution, follow up and escalation of service tickets E2E (End2End) according to company’s standard processes, policies and tools.
  • Reporting, sizing and tracking of resolution costs.
  • Managing Mobile and Telco services
  • Staging and delivering IT equipment to users or premises e.g. new mobiles or laptops (Windows & iOS) – Regenerations/ Turnovers of e.g. Access Points
  • Undertake as individual or as team member, local scope projects, implementations with diligent reporting and tracking methods.
  • Communicate and collaborate with external Technical Teams (Level 2 / Level 3) for achieving resolution of cases or completion of projects.
  • Monitor, uphold and report risk, compliance, risks and IT governance matters.

Position’s Requirements

  • BSc or Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a multinational company with focus on: end users and systems support, IT projects and technology platforms 1st level management for example: Users Management in Azure.
  • Experience from an international company will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft & Apple Operating Systems for workstations, Microsoft Directory technologies (AD , DNS , DHCP, Email protocols) , cloud technologies (Azure , O365 , Apple iCloud etc). Internet technologies and network & cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication & organization skills, kindness.
  • High profile caliber reflected in attitude , presence , appearance, verbal & written communication
  • Good and relevant (up to date) knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies and methods.
  • Professional approaches and logic for analyzing , solving and delivering solutions then , communicating solutions and services.
  • Excellence in English written & verbal communications
  • Very good understanding of modern platforms and technologies including new consumer technologies, and smartphones.
  • Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to take accountability and optimize processes and IT Services delivery to business.
